Today we are going to talk about the third of the four aromas of the new line Back in Black by Azhad’s Elixirs, entirely dedicated to Latakia tobacco.
We remind you that the whole Back in Black line will be marketed in a 20 ml concentrated aroma format in a 60 ml bottle. It will therefore be diluted by adding a 40 ml neutral base. A quick shake will immediately make it ready for use.
After talking about Black Latakia and Black 99%, today, always in absolute preview, we will talk about the Black Caribbean:
…. An exotic blend that combines Latakia tobacco with pineapple and coconut.
Even Black Caribbean, like the previous products reviewed, shows a characteristic dark brown color, we called it turbid, very similar to the color of an American coffee.

Do you remember the Caribbean e-liquid? Surely among the most appreciated products by Azhad, probably the most loved.
Black Cavendish and Virginia macerated together with coconut and pineapple, an aroma in which the taste of piña colada is enhanced by the strong nuances of an aromatic tobacco pipe.
What happens if a soft and aromatic combination of tobacco pipe is replaced by the strongest and most imperious of tobaccos? How will combine fresh and exotic hints with the dark and vigorous notes of Latakia?
On the smell, on intense tobacco base, soft buttery hints emerge slightly bitter from a sparkling note of pineapple. The fragrance that comes from it is quite intriguing especially because the nose is very unique. A particular combination of the dark strength of Latakia with the solar shades of an exotic fruit like pineapple. The first smells, however, seem to hide the scent of coconut, even if that buttery frame makes me think …
I decide to deepen the olfactory examination by investigating the persistent creamy-buttery scent and I realize that from the back seems to appear a faint aroma of coconut. But yes, it’s a coconut milk, I’m sure! Or maybe not?
I need to start the vape test, to try and get rid of all my doubts.
My Berserker RTA is ready to tackle the vaporization test which is far from simple. The aromatic complexity of the singular combination of two sweet and graceful exotic fruits with the strong and dark latakia tobacco, requires a vape test more than ever attentive and meticulous.
During the inhalation immediately emerge with a certain swagger the buttery scents felt on the nose. The perception is that of a cream of coconut milk, with a note of fresh cream soiled by a smoked base. Aromatically it is undoubtedly an extravagant union and perhaps even a little risky, not because it is unusual to combine the coconut with tobacco, but because the Latakia tobacco was chosen for the search for an aromatic balance with the fruity-creamy component . Not easy.
In the heart of the puff a thin fruity veil, a touch of freshness and exotic vivacity, enhances the structure of the e-liquid. The pineapple notes are light but very elegant and are inserted with the right weight within the combination of tobacco and coconut. At this stage, the tobacco notes appear in the background, specially reduced to enhance the exotic shades of the e-liquid.
The tobacco notes return domineering during exhalation when all the more typical shades of Latakia show the muscles dragging the light finishes of an unripe pineapple, in a thin and wise smoked-sweet-sour “ménage à trois”.
The woody and smoky aftertaste plays an important role both during the exhalation and in the more than good post-vaping persistence; thus restores the right tobacco imprint, to emphasize that despite the use of exotic fruit with summer characteristics, this is still a tobacco e-juice with a deeply strong character.
The components intersection quite different and distant from each other allows you to tackle the vaping action with a certain versatility. In addition to the classic slow tasting typical for tobacco extracts, you can taste Black Caribbean in flavor chasing without any loss of aromatic nuances. Guaranteed result.
Despite the meticulous work of calibrating the individual ingredients, the Azhad creation does not seem to enjoy the same aromatic harmony that is traceable to his older brother. Or at least it is a harmony that at times seems precarious … Always poised … The feeling that its taste can take strange distortion in any moment.
Anyway in my opinion everything has been done in the best way to ensure the best balance between Latakia, pineapple and coconut. And the Latakia lovers will be able to confirm it.
Recommended dilution: about 33% = add 40 ml of neutral base inside the bottle containing the aroma.
Steeping time: Immediately ready.
Pro: Latakia tobacco estimators will find it an excellent strong tobacco flavored…
Cons: …but does not reach the Caribbean’s harmonic peaks.
