Did you think we finished our story on the amazing products by Guerrilla Flavors? But no, we still have a little surprise in store for you. Yes, our journey through the delicious creations of the Romanian manufacturer, continues with a product that, among all the Guerrilla Flavors, seems to be, at least according to what is read around the network between forums and various vape groups, the most appreciated. We are ready to talk to you about Black Ops that from the city of Cluj-Napoca, capital of Transylvania, has arrived here on the super critical “bench” of The Flavourist, our feared test bench.

Guerrilla Flavors very simply describes its Black Ops:

Vanilla mix based on Vanilla Custard

I immediately started by telling you that in my humble opinion, the description seems a little ambiguous: is it a mix of various types of vanilla, or is it simply a Vanilla Custard?

I’m about to find out right away I’m learning the bottle of the product, a classic chubby gorilla with a rather aggressive and disquieting military design, but we konw we talk about the Guerrilla Flavors!

I remember that Black Ops is in the mix series format, 50 ml of aroma to be added with 10 ml of base (if desired with nicotine), a format that the Romanian manufacturer calls short-fill.

SMELL TEST

The smell test clarifies the Hamlet’s doubt of the official description of the product: Black Ops is a vanilla custard.

And sincerely since the first puff I have the feeling of having perceive this kind of fragrance an infinite number of times during the course of my luster of tests and reviews. The e-liquid vanilla custard is certainly one of the most produced flavors in the world; indeed, to be honest, I believe it is the most inflated liquid ever. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned in recent years, it’s that now a vanilla custard is a recipe so appealing to audiences around the world as relatively easy to make. A vanilla custard is no longer mistaken as a recipe.

On the smell Black Ops confirms exactly everything I said just now. The aroma that comes out of the bottle is in line with one of the many good custards tested by our team. The scent is sweet and inviting and transfers to my nose the idea of a particularly creamy and velvety liquid. The vanilla fragrance emerges pleasing to the nose but reveals, as widely predictable, its synthetic origin and evident use of vanillin.

I prepare myself for the vape test that today will be done in bottom feeder on a timeless and performing Vandy Vape Pulse 80W BF with Wotofo’s Elder Dragon dripper.

VAPE TEST

On vape Black Ops does not disappoint but at the same time it is not surprising; since the first puff I realize to be in front of a tasty all day vape all based on vanilla, the most requested taste in the vaping world. The aromatic score is the most classic in the market today. Currently I believe that few e-liquids manufacturers do not include a vanilla custard in their catalog.

The vanilla custard Black Ops does not have particular and unusual aromatic characteristics, far from it … Aromatic cues are easily evident, easily traceable to many other similar products. All very pleasant but also a bit obvious.

In inspiration, the vanilla note is penetrating and in some cases even slightly pungent. After the first steps, the puff becomes creamy and rounder and finally the vanilla cream is revealed in all its sweet body.

The level of sweetness that accompanies the vanilla portion is marked but not excessive, while I notice the lack of the classic hints of egg that almost always distinguish an “organic” custard. It is evident that the nature of this recipe is absolutely “synthetic” and further confirmation of this, it is possible to note the total absence of spicy nuances that, even if minimal, the use of a real vanilla bean and its extract would always guarantee if present in any vanilla recipe.

The result is certainly pleasant but in our opinion not exciting because this custard does not shine for creativity, and at times it is perhaps a bit tiring.

Guerrilla Flavors guys, we have seen in previous reviews be able to establish themselves with some products of absolute goodness, in this circumstance, proposing a timeless classic of vape, they can not make us cry to the miracle, while confirming their skill in realizing a mainstream e-liquid. An e-liquid of easy success.

Pro: Classic and tasty vanilla custard for all the day and for all the vapers.

Cons: It’s easy to confuse it with other vanilla custards.
