Synergy Vape, the brand born from the collaboration between two renowned Italian manufacturers, Blendfeel and Tornado Juice and officially presented during the 2018 edition of Vapitaly, appeared here on our pages a few months ago and attracted the attention of all the vapers (and they are more and more) that love the “organic” tobaccoflavoured e-liquids.
The merger of the skills and specific characteristics of each of the two companies has led to the creation of an entire line of flavored tobacco aromas. Synergy Vape, as already mentioned in the past, therefore represents the trait d’union between the creamy and fruity creations by Tornado Juice with the pure tobacco extracts by Blendfeel.
A true synergy that has generated seven concentrated aromas: Black N’gold, Creamy Latakia, Grecale, Lentini’s Cigar, Oriental Fusion, T.M.C. and Wrong Love.
The package of each Synergy Vape includes a small cardboard tube containing a 10 ml amber-colored glass bottle and a very useful sticker to put on the bottleand where to write the information on the preparation (aroma name, nicotine level, composition of the base and date of preparation).
To the hot and smoky notes, with hints of leather, cedar wood and incense, typical of the famous and appreciated Cypriot tobacco we skilfully mixed the typical fragrances of the Emilian pastry, those fragrant notes of the past, are hidden among the voluptuous clouds of the intoxicating notes dark of an overwhelming Latakia.
On the nose, the aromatic impact deriving from the combination of the creamy component and latakia appears rather interesting. We can clearly perceive both the components that make up the tobacco mix, giving a rather sinuous feeling and to the nose the effect of this union appears particular, perhaps at times ambiguous. I try to explain myself better: from the olfactory point of view it seems to be in front of a sort of pastry cream not perfectly successful, with strange aromatic deviations or at most it seems to smell a smoked latakia but at the same time contaminated by aromatic elements that they imprison its real qualities.
Never as in this circumstance, the vape test is fundamental to dissolve the doubts that emerged from the olfactory perception.
I decided to entrust the Expromizer V3 Fire with the not easy task of accompanying me in the tasting of Creamy Latakia and I am therefore ready to immerse myself in the molecular depths of this aroma.
During the first puff, I immediately notice a well-designed e-liquid, velvety and with an excellent aromatic balance. The two ingredients of the bouquet overlook the incredibly amalgamated palate. The fusion is almost total and in every phase of the vaping from inhalation to the exhalation phase, the creamy contribution and the latakia tobacco are delivered arm in arm to my taste buds, even if the very first starting point is the prerogative of Latakia and its scents of incense. The simple aromatic structure and not much faceted, does not limit the quality of the blend that is more than ever tasty.
We are faced with a product whose natural perception amplifies its pleasantness from the first to the last vaped milliliter. In this sense, a big contribution is provided by the creamy apparatus that, with its light vanilla and biscuit glazes, really reminds the traditional flavors of the past.
Pleasant, yet strange sensations …
The creamy part carries with it the tobacco notes and the other way around, but this intertwining in some situations seems to distort my perceptions a bit. On the one hand a vanilla cream with penetrating “burned” tips and on the other a latakia tobacco wrapped in a creamy mantle, while retaining its rough and smoky tone, seems to have lost its subtlest spicy nuances. And although their typical incensed notes do not escape the palate, in the end the tobacco appears a bit choked by the advent of the cream.
However, the aromatic result of this creation that remains very pleasant is not affected. Creamy Latakia lends itself to being a very valid all day vape thanks to its being a fairly coil friendly aroma.
In my opinion, however, I believe that the most demanding supporters of latakia can not fail to notice a slight but significant anomaly in the aromatic yield of this Cypriot tobacco.
Suggested dilution: 10%
Steeping time: 3/5 gg
Pro: Excellent balance between creamy and smoky tobacco notes.
Cons: More suitable for “creamy vapers” than for “latakia vapers”.
