Sweet, very sweet, strongly sweet, too sweet…
These words exactly summarised the flavour concentrate Crème Anglaise produced by Hit the Pipe .
Créme Anglaise, for those who don’t know it, is basically a variant of the custard cream, commonly used as a garnishing sauce or as a base for desserts.
As I said at the beginning of the review, this flavour concentrate is really sweet, sometimes cloying and (sad to say) unnatural, which is, in fact, perhaps the worst flaw I found in this Créme Anglaise; in the end, while the fact that a taste is too sweet or not depends on personal preferences, the fact that it’s unnatural does not – I think.
What I found unnatural in this flavour is the hint of egg and vanilla, tastes that don’t work well as a mix and appear disjointed and “synthetic”.
In short, this aroma misses the target if vaped alone but it can be successfully mixed with other flavours – I’ve tried it – to obtain more elaborated vape juices.
Recommended dilution: 7-10%
