A few days ago we got to Know with the French brand Sivape which only recently appeared on the Italian market. Our journey to discover the creations of the Bobigny company, a small town just outside Paris, began with the e-liquid Corn Porn of the Trixxie line. Today we will review the e-liquid Kisstard for the Trixxie line.
The bottle in our possession is in the classic Mix Series format, ie a 60 ml bottle containing 50 ml of liquid to which a 10 ml base eventually with nicotine will be added. For the Italian market, the French company has been active in making the aroma versions of its liquids.
The name of the product that we are going to test, does not leave to misunderstandings, and in fact the official description says:
Delicious custard with madagascar vanilla. A smooth and silky all day vape.
We are therefore faced with a recipe, which I believe can easily be defined as “abused” within the international e-liquid scenario, and perhaps this is the recipe most used by producers around the world. Therefore starting from this fundamental assumption, we are preparing to evaluate the qualities and overall the value of the custard cream made by Sivape.
There are no surprises during the smell test that reveals without delay a recognizable and evident perfume of vanilla custard. It is an unmistakable scent that in the many years of reviews and among the hundreds of e-liquids and aromas we tried, we have met so many times. A formulation that for years has been raging and never fails among the production lines of the majority of worldwide manufacturers. The aroma that comes out of the Kisstard bottle is perfectly in line with the best custard tested by our team. Its scent is sweet and inviting and transfers to my nose the idea of a- e-liquid so creamy and velvety.
Also for today’s vape test, I decided to confirm the winning match Vandy Vape Pulse BF 80 W with the aromaticity of Wotofo Recurve RDA designated by the famous youtuber Mike Vapes. An RDA of undoubted quality to be used indifferently in dripping or bottom feeder.
On vaping Kisstard fully confirms the good olfactory premise, I do not reserve surprises, my palate is filled from the first puff of a rich custard cream that, although it seems obviously sweet, but it seems to be not too sweet, just sweet at the right point, in order to guarantee a prolonged vaping without the risk that the e-liquid with the passing of minutes and milliliters may be cloying.
Kisstard is obviously not a multifaceted liquid, its aromatic structure is relatively simple and in all stages of the vaping, all the aromaticity of a soft vanilla cream pervades my palate soothingly.
The vape proves very graceful and sweet (but, I repeat, I assure you that I tried custard much sweeter), thanks to the precious contribution of milk and sweet cream veils that gently emerge and provide the e-juice with characteristics similar to those of an ice cream. The puff now appears full and fat in all its junctures, while it releases alluring buttery scents that enrich the intensity of this formulation. After the first few minutes of running-in, which must always be granted to the taste buds to adapt to the ingredients of an e-liquid, I start to perceive light caramelized scents that virtually garnish and enliven the delicate goodness of the cream.
All the roundness of the vanilla cream is well balanced and smoothed by caramelized nuances that, thanks to a never excessive sweetening (cane sugar?), contributes to make Kisstard sufficiently penetrating and absolutely not cloying.
And that sense of velvety intuited to the smell remains intact even at the end of the vaping, with a more than pleasant and natural aromatic persistence.
The aphrodisiac kiss of the Sivape custard.
Pro: Excellent custard cream, not too sweet and very balanced.
Cons: It is not an innovative recipe.
