The Riot Squad brand, made its debut on these pages a few months ago, the type of liquid did not suit the period, but now in preparation for the milder days we feel we can bring these few lines to share our impressions with us . The manufacturer, as perhaps some will know, has its headquarters in Milton Keynes a hundred kilometers north of London.
The aromas we have received from Riot Squad are presented in colorful 10 ml small bottles in the shape of a bullet, each color tries to classify the taste, the line is very wide but focuses on the types of liquid that we know well, its composition varies from a few creamy with fruit creams and finds its maximum expression in fruity aromas with mentholated additions, we find ourselves in front of the aromas that wink at the Malaysian liquids.
The second aroma we want to test with you is Sub Lime, which is described by the manufacturer as well.
Subversive flavors of sweet acidic lime and lemon, which will mess up your senses and leave you with a sour aftertaste.
The sour and slightly bitter fruit has always been a passion for me, and in this very simple but explanatory description I rediscover simple but at the same time intriguing tastes, the combination of lime and lemon is classic but manages to give good results in aromatic terms and if correctly balanced with bitter but slightly sweet notes the final result will certainly be positive. Expectations grow.
As previously stated, the package in which sub lime is presented is of sure impact, recalling the name of the brand we find the shape of a bullet, the colors recall the main element of the aroma, above we find the logo and the name of the ‘aroma. As for mixing, the producers recommend 20% but we can certainly go down by a good 5% to still have the right aromatic body.
SMELL TEST
Opening the bottle, we are immediately overwhelmed by an intense sour smell, impossible not to perceive the aromatic charge of the lemon which is truly overwhelming, the sensations are sharp and precise, everything is really enthralling and real, in this vortex of pure lemon the lime that with its characteristics very similar to lemon but with an increase in the values of amaragnoli, everything manages to combine to perfection creating a really rich and full-bodied layer, the fresh slightly sweetened lemon mixes with bitter and sour notes of lime. Even if these are synthetic aromas, the aromas are really real and precise, it really seems to have these two fruits in front of them.
VAPE TEST
The first puff inaugurated with an explosion of taste, the cloud of steam is really dense and rich, it clearly perceives every single distinct element, the lemon is rich, precise and punctual, and gives us sweet, sour and slightly spicy sensations, each characteristic of the fruit is reported inside the puff with absolute precision, as synchronized immediately after we are embraced by the lime that transmits its aromatic charge through lashes of pure “citric acid” which, mixing together, gives a pleasant and intense taste, all accompanied from a very delicate and pleasant freshness.
But analyzing more specifically the vape we can divide it into three parts in the initial phase the main component is the lemon, which is perceived in a slightly sugary but still harsh way and which shows itself with a satisfying and real taste molecularly far from what it is for all a synthetic liquid, immediately after in the central phase we find ourselves before a lime that punctually manages to balance with its amarostic notes the sugar component raising again the level of the acidity of the liquid which in any case is the central element of this eliquid. Finally it could not miss a slightly fresh note menthol is only at the bottom of the puff and allows us to perceive even better the characteristic elements of lemon and lime.
On the whole, however, svapata is very pleasant and the bitter bit of lime that drags on to the exhalation phase raises the aromatic composition, making a simple liquid slightly more characteristic.
