Here’s the second review of The Flavourist dedicated to the French brand Cloud Vapor. We will focus our attention on Swoon. A fruity e-liquid of the colorful Street Art line.

Here is the official description of Swoon presented on the Cloud Vapor website:

A mélange de raisin et litchi très équilibré et délicatement parfumé.

A well balanced and delicately scented blend of raisins and lychee.

As usual, it will be the olfactory examination to open this new review. The distinctive olfactory trait of the ingredients is indisputable. Honestly, the smell is pervaded by an intense hint of grapes framed by live resinous notes. In its olfactory background, Swoon preserves the most delicate but audacious lychee notes. Unfortunately, the olfactory trace of this e-liquid, as often happens in the field of fruity, is combined with distinctly synthetic versions of the ingredients set out in the description. In conclusion … it seems to smell a fragrant toy or an economic soap.

muscat raisins

At vaporization, Swoon presents a vigorous body. The intense notes that combine and simulate raisins are very credible. Acidic influences, with a resinous tract, are intended to ennoble a boring aroma of grapes. Here, in short, that raisins are surprising to the vape. Added to this is an unusual but pleasant citrus veil.

Fresh lychee in bowl on a wooden background

As noted during the olfactory test phase, the lychee plays only a minor role. Its presence at powers above 28w is almost irrelevant. His profile, however, does not have that exotic nobility that, after so many years of products and fruity products, I would have expected. Disappointing.

Overall Swoon unveils an ambiguous and particularly misleading identity. The tenor of its ingredients is confined to an aggressive taste … but dressed in a synthetic and childish perfume.

Pro: Interesting interpretation of raisins. Not truthful, but interesting.

Cons: Interpretazioni fruttate troppo sintetiche. Ambigue al gusto.
