For the choice of today’s e-liquid to review, I have been enchanted and attracted by the unique packaging of Dinner Lady products. Their vintage pop style, applied to a sort of matchbox with a design and a clear and impact graphics, is really great. The box contains three 10 ml colored PET bottles (each color identifies a taste), very soft to the touch and with a very detailed instruction leaflet in eight languages. All Dinner Lady products are absolutely TPD compliant. A superb example of creativity and ability to transform the limitations of new packaging legislation into something very practical and catchy.

After talking about Cornflake Tart, today we are going to review Strawberry Custard:
Natural strawberry is balanced against sweet, creamy custard and butter-caramel. A refreshingly different strawberry vape that will leave other strawberry flavors gathering dust on your shelf.
Strawberry Custard shows a smelly and vaguely pungent scent of strawberries with a creamy backdrop; the aromatic framework does not show any other significant nuances and overall it seems to indicate a discreetly sweet, pleasing and reassuring stamp. So I prepare for the vape proof that will be made today with Geekvape’s Peerless RDA atomizer.
In inspiration a gentle but very realistic strawberry looks out at the bedside of my papilla showing gentle aromatic tones but with the typical acidity tips of this fruit. A strawberry flavor that I would define so graceful, natural and therefore very convincing. No external sweetening ideas are perceived, which may in some way alter the perception of the red fruit. Soon in the heart of the snatch, the creamy finishes of this e-juice come to fruition, the manufacturer’s interpretation of a vanilla cream.
As well as the strawberry ingredient, the custard also shows on the aromatic stage very delicately and with a creaminess level perhaps below the standards that vaper are accustomed for this kind of e-liquids. The modest creaminess is enhanced by the presence, though minimal, of a “crust” background that reduces the fatty feeling that you would expect to feel. All of this is definitely well-balanced, very compact and clean but I still think the idea of a “restrained” e-liquid that can not fully show its taste.
After some puffs, the palate assimilates better to the linear structure and the modest creaminess of Strawberry Custard, so the vape is therefore pleasantly, despite the lack of softness continuing to flourish among the aromatic notes of the bouquet.
But where is over the butter-caramel? Its presence should have provided a further creamy density and partly sweetness to the juice, yet this ingredient is far from ostentatious. Imperceptible, as long as there is…
It is at the end of every puff that this e-liquid shows the best of it, presenting itself in exhalation with an unsurpassed and better roundness and above all with a remarkable aromatic persistence. The feeling on our palate at the end of vape is definitely better than perceived in the head and heart notes. A dense pastry cream enriched with the natural flavor and succulent of some ripe strawberries.
There is a bit of regret for a product that too late reveals its qualities to the vaper more and more attentive and demanding supplier of ever-wider offerings of this kind of e-liquids. Not entirely convincing.
Pro: High quality and natural strawberry.
Cons: In spite of what the manufacturer said, the creaminess of the liquid is insufficient.
