By one of the Italian e-liquids manufacturers most dynamic and prolific of the entire national scene, Blendfeel, comes a new product line that mocks the style of North American most liquids . No coincidence that this line is called Whatsamericavape and with a bit of “Sordiana” memory, we imagine that Blendfeel undertaking this new journey, has not wanted to take itself too seriously, but rather to demonstrate the feasibility of certain types of e-juices even if made in Italy.
The line Whatsamericavape consists of 8 products in two versions “ready” or “concentrated juices”; at moment are only 5 the liquids available online on the market, the remaining 3 will see the light between late March and late July 2017. The “ready” products are in 50 ml bottle and have 0 nicotine on a base VPG 70/30, while the “concentrated” are based on 74/26 VPG and must be diluted with a “nicotine booster” of 5 ml to get always 50 ml of the final product.
The package includes a black cardboard cylinder tube full of all the information leaflet of the law, in seven languages. Inside the cardboard we find the bottle in transparent PET (or maybe PE?) with childproof cap and dropper, simple but comfortable for the refill operations. The broad label extends over almost the entire surface of the bottle, is very clear and rich in all the necessary information starting from the composition of the product, the information on the dangers of the same, up to information relating to the manufacturer; in short, nothing is missing.
On the Whatsamericavape site, there are no descriptions true of the products but for each of them are present hashtags that identify key ingredients that compose it; in the case of New York, today’s liquid, are the following hashtag:
#Creamy #Milk&Cookietaste #Sweet
To smell New York reveals an intense and pronounced cookie aroma with a clear undertone of sweetened milk, I would say much more than sugary, supersweet. It ‘a very tempting fragrance, sweet notes always attract and create high expectations to be confirmed in vaping. As a child attracted by the sweetness of a chocolate, I am going to immerse myself in the New York test.
I drip the first drops on my Recoil RDA pushing now to 50 watts, because these are liquid designed basically for cloud chasing. I realize now that the notes perceived during the smell action, are transferred all perfectly in large mouthfuls I allow myself, without any difference will surprise. The breath is very sweet and soft, the aromatic content is very intense and powerfully pulls out the taste of a classic cookies soaked in a glass of fresh milk with a lot of sugar. It’s difficult to see more or less distinct notes at different stages of puff, but that is not the stated objective of the manufacturer. It’s a recipe not so structured, who depends on kidnap and stuns the taste buds of vaper.
And this New York stuns how! It ‘a biscuit to milk every way, a beverage or rather saucy snack, young and fresh, can produce compulsive addiction releasing in the air a good taste of a baked biscuit. The product is well built and is loyal to a typically American mood of understanding much of their creations. The presence of a generous amount of sucralose is perhaps the strongest evidence, and in this sense Blendfeel succeeds perfectly in its intent: to emulate a classic American style. Successful experiment.
We are faced with a type of e-juice comparable to a mainstream film, it is very trendy and very appreciated by the big public but are far in its contents by premium art e-liquids, those in which the creative research emerges, the construction technique and the quality of the ingredients used.
Blendfeel with New York shows that producing a mainstream fluid is not difficult at all, and maybe just wanted to reach this intention. But know that we at The Flavourist prefer it in the role of creator of another type of liquid, more elegant, more sophisticated and more researched, we might mention a different but we indicate on all “Toro” is not randomly chosen as best tobacco extracted and winner of The Flavourist The Best of 2016.
Pro: perfect emulation of an American “mischione” .
Cons: is so sugary that “rots” the coil.
